This Moment Is Inevitable 🕰️

The foundation, the basis, the beginning of every spiritual, mystical, and sensible teaching is just this: that This Moment Is Inevitable. It is the most fundamental, irrefutable truth that there is. It is not ‘yours’, ‘mine’, or ‘his’ . . .

First, I want to say this: I’m not your guru. And here, I’ll prove it to you:

Now, with that out of the way. This Moment, so I say—it is the Present—Today, and it’s called that for a reason. It is the only thing that is certain—our doorway to ultimate freedom. Every thought and feeling, every action, is born from it, and the Source of all Creation is known in it—This Moment.

It is only in This Moment that we can truly access the power and peace of our own consciousness. It is the only “time” we can focus. It is the only “place” that is limitless. It is not only the sole source of true and lasting happiness, but the only “time” we can know bliss, connectedness, and harmony with the world around us. It is, in essence, all there is.

To experience life in an immense manner doesn’t require advancing our accumulations, either of money, wealth, relationships, or information; rather, it involves deepening our awareness and connection with the Presence, which is only found in the present. Worldly advancement may bring temporary contentment, but a profound relationship with This Moment brings permanent fulfillment.

One need not have the latest equipment to experience sufficient spiritual enrichment. All that is necessary is wholehearted commitment—continuous resilience. For it is only with a positive, dynamic, and absolute acceptance of life in its purest essence, with a willingness and awareness to accept all there is, that we can witness the possibility of profoundness of experience within.

The essence of ‘when’, of Creation, the “part” of us that can never be taken away or diminished, is forever available to us. It is a timeless state of consciousness in which we can access that which is the basis of every human experience. But, someone may say, “That only sounds like something spiritual, and I’m not spiritual.” Well, one may not think so, but we are all spiritual, whether or not we accept it as part of our mental.

The mind can be variable, fickle, and, for some of us, volatile and unstable. The more one tries to force control, for instance, the more it plays tricks, becomes rebellious, and appears uncontrollable. This resistance is due to a lack of total acceptance. It is the result of too much focus on the transient and not the constant—our Essence.

Thus, it is important to stay fixed and focused on the constant—This Moment; otherwise, one will wall themselves up. “I like this pup, but not that one. I love this person, but not that person.” Such notions are the walls of self-preservation built for illusory protection. But these self-created barriers become walls of self-imprisonment. In such a limitless cosmos, it doesn’t make sense to build small compartments.

It is wise to wear the world like a loose garment. We can explore and adventure with involvement, without fear of failure, doubt, or judgment. All it takes is a willingness to accept life in all its aspects. With simple, unconditional acceptance, we witness within ourselves an immense sense of confidence. Due to an expanded context, life happens on a larger scale. There is no such thing as “fail.” The mind is no longer fickle or frail, as we see through the veil. There is no other option than to prevail.

If, therefore, for only 24 hours, one accepts everything—their mental things, emotional things, bodily things, and social things—absolutely everything, just as it is, there is no question of suffering. For suffering is only due to unpleasantness, which is the result of resistance, or lack of acceptance. This total acceptance does not imply hopelessness. It is not passive resignation, but rather active acceptance of existence, as it is, whatever the situation. It does not mean we cannot change a situation. It simply means that we choose to focus on the present moment and make the best of it. It is a recipe for inner peace and contentment. Above all, it is a doorway to the Ultimate.

Still, it is important to note: passive acceptance or repetitiveness without the necessary alertness and awareness will make one dull. If one chants a mantra, for example, and does it half-heartedly just to get through their spiritual practice, it will not have the same benefit as one who moves their awareness along with the vibration and is keenly aware of every moment they are doing the practice. Some people may confuse dullness with peace, but lethargy is not peacefulness. Being dull and peaceful is of no use, but when one is exuberantly alert and peaceful, with an immense sense of aliveness, we witness our inner energetic abundance, which is, apart from all concepts, a resource that can never be taken away from us.
